Butterfly Love
Who would've ever thought that a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old would be absolutely in love with some butterflies? Thanks to a thoughtful and creative gift from Auntie Lori, we have been diligently waiting and watching 5 caterpillars eat, get bigger, turn into cocoons, and then become butterflies. Yesterday, the butterflies finally hatched and the boys were ecstatic. You would've thought that they, personally, had given birth. They wanted to put little toys in the bottom of their butterfly house, they wanted to have the butterflies sleep with them at night, they wanted to make sure the butterflies could hear their bedtime story, and I even caught Calvin trying to stuff his blankie into the little 4 inch "door" of the butterfly house. It was really cute!
