Two weeks ago, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable day with our homeschool group. We went to Heather's parents' house near the foothills and spent the morning exploring the creek that runs through their property and catching tadpoles and frogs at all their stages of development. What fun for adventurous little boys (and a little girl, once she decided it would be ok to get her feet muddy!)

Each cup contained a tadpole or frog grouped into the same developmental stage: tadpoles with just a tail, tadpoles with back legs, tadpoles with front and back legs, and fully developed frogs.
Lunch (although the day was mostly cloudy, I made the mistake of not putting sunscreen on Norah... the poor girl got a bit sunburned... I need to remember to keep her fair skin protected!)
