Wedding Weekend

The wedding bells have rung and it's official... Jason and Ashley are married!!! I'm so excited to have such a sweet, new sister-in-law ... welcome to the family, Ashley!!! We had a wonderful weekend in Ashley's hometown, Fairhope, Alabama as we celebrated this momentous occasion. Scott and I left our 3 precious children (all the more precious because we didn't have to travel with them!) at home with some very capable friends and flew in to New Orleans on Thursday. We drove to Fairhope and enjoyed staying in a great house right on the bay with my mom and dad, Laura, Aron, Gabriel, Micah, Andrea, and Eric. It was great to see everyone again, especially since we didn't see any family for Christmas. The wedding was beautiful, and we had a lot of fun at the reception. On Sunday, everyone left to head back home and we made the drive to New Orleans again. We spent the rest of Sunday and most of Monday there seeing the sights. It was great to see my Uncle Hank, Aunt Marilyn, cousin Mark (and his wife, Janine), and cousin Eric, who were also spending an extra day in New Orleans. We had great flights, and now we're home again, feeling refreshed and ready to go again. Congratulations to Jason and Ashley! We pray God blesses them with many years of love and happiness!
